Heat Reduction Window Film
By reflecting the heat of the sun solar control film can improve comfort and aid in reducing eyestrain and associated headaches whilst maintaining good light levels
Solar control films applied to glazed roofs such as conservatories or factories, atriums or any other large expanse of glazing can reduce heat caused by solar energy and give continuous thermal comfort.
There are a variety of solar control window films both reflective and non reflective. The most effective can give up to a maximum 80% reduction in solar heat gain and can be obtained in varying shades, colours and tints.
Our Solar Control films reduce solar heat gain by as much as 80% as well as effectively reducing eye strain and associated headaches caused by visible glare on computer screens etc.
Regulations state that all reasonable steps should be taken to ensure comfortable temperatures are maintained of at least 19 degrees C in general offices. Installing solar control window films can significantly reduce workplace temperatures.
It works all year round to even out temperature highs and lows. Many films reflect back the worst of the sun’s heat and reduce glare whilst still allowing light through. In the winter the film retains some of the escaping heat and reflects it back into the building, this can save on energy costs all year round both on air-conditioning and heating.
The result is a more comfortable working environment ensuring higher productivity.
