Some installations from our Portfolio

Lynx Express Couriers, Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Lynx Express Couriers in Nuneaton consisted of 78 sloping double glazed panels measuring 1m x 4.5m. The appearance of the fully glazed facade was dramatically transformed by the professional installation of solar/safety combination film. The glazing now rejects upto 78% of total solar energy and provides a much more comfortable working environment.

N Power, Dorcan House, Swindon. N-Power have extensive glazing sections and with the addition of performance window films have dramatically altered the look of the building and the working environment has improved considerably as both glare and solar energy have been rejected.

Channel Tunnel Ticket Booths, Calais – The Channel Tunnel ticket booths were suffering greatly from bright sunshine and a build up of heat within the booths, being very close to the Channel Tunnel entrance we were asked to ‘pop over’ to Calais to resolve the problems being experienced by the ticket booth operatives.

The solution to the problem was a non-reflective charcoal tinted window film which was applied to all the glass at the checkpoint this successfully reduced the glare by 76% and solar heat gain by 30% making life more comfortable inside the booths.

Saga Group, Kent – The Saga building in Folkestone, Kent was undergoing a major upgrade and we were given the contract to carry out the window film works within the project. The building has large glazed areas and to ensure a comfortable working environment whilst maintaining safety and security a combination safety/security solar control film was professionally installed.

Leicester University Engineering Division - an extensive run of overhead glazing was fitted with Solar safety film to address the problem of high solar heat and glare gain and has brought the glazing up to the legally required Health and Safety regulation 14 standard for glass in the workplace. Specialist access equipment was employed to minimise disruption while the installation took place.

This building is a very prominent high profile 13 storey building where the clients prime concern was for Safety and Security.

The project was to apply a Clear Anti-Shatter Window Film that would upgrade the glass to BS6206 Class A, and comply with current building regulations and to provide “bomb blast” security as defined by government guidelines.

Pabro, having provided the client with a comprehensive glazing survey and schedule, recommended the application of 3M SH7 CLARL .175 Clear Anti-Shatter Window Film and were chosen to undertake the project.
